What is THEODORE in Hebrew or Polish

Isaac Salonsky died in 1920 in Colorado and his tombstone says that his parents were Theodore and Sarah. Theodore would have been born before 1820 in what is now Lithuania. Does anyone have any idea of a translation for this name?
