Annie,

Thank you very much for all this information. Do you know if there are any business records that would reflect more information on Mr. Kalisky?

I hope some family member can contribute information on this person who was an "angel" for many sailors from abroad who had no place to go while in NY. I've been told that in spite of a Bar next door, Mr. Hyman did not accept alcohol on his premises. He would also help sailors get a job and handle their mail.
