Hi there,
Thanks for your help. Alfred Gold was born in 1861, Surrey England. According to some records I have, he was a furniture dealer. His son, my great grandfather Albert Henry Gold was killed in the trenches of Ypres during World War I. I don't know if either of them had any siblings. My husband and myself lived in Israel for a few years when we first got married. I loved the country and the people. It would be interesting to know what my Jewish family are like.
