Trying to find Russian town - Moysdytz ?

I am doing some research for a friend. I found the passenger list when they came to the US in 1907 but I can't find the name of the given town. It is either mispelled or I can't read it.
Ester Lebovitch states that she was born in Russia in the town of Moysdytz. Her 3 children listed on the passenger list were born in Odessa.
I would appreciate it if someone is able to help.
