The 1930 federal census of Rockland County, New York shows the following family in Spring Valley: Arthur Reinhart (age 31), his wife, Carolyn (26), their children, Minnie (6 yrs, 11 mo), Arthur(5 yrs, 5 mo), Norman(2 1/2), Vivian(1). All were born in New York. Arthur's widowed mother, also named Carolyn (age 64, born in Germany), lived with them, along with her two grandsons, Walter (age 21) and Stanley (age 18). Since the boys' name was Reinhart, their father must have been Arthur's brother. The elder Mrs. Reinhart came to America in 1895. Her son, Arthur, as well as his nephews, all worked in a factory.
The 1920 census of Rockland County shows that Arthur's mother was Caroline (note spelling) and his father was Adam. They both came to America in 1895. Adam and Caroline's grandsons, Walter and Stanley, lived with them, as well as their widowed daughter, Mary Radney (age 23) and Mary's daughter, Ruth (age 5), all born in New York.
Hope this helps.
