Our surname today in the U.S. is Youcha (formerly Youchah,Youshah) and our Jewish ancestors were from Monastir,Yugoslavia/Serbia/Turkey or (Bitola, Macedonia today). Our ancestors' names were Victor (Haim) ben Yakov and Vida, both of whom emigrated to New York. Our great grandfather Yakov had a second wife and family after 1901 (after his first wife Anna Negrin died). Yakov died in early 1943. We are looking for descendants of his second family, some of whom may have gone to France, and some may have died in the Holocaust in Treblinka or were deported from France. In the Deportee List of Monastir Jews to Treblinka March 11, 1943, it lists many Ischach(Ischah,Ichah, etc) surnames, but no Yosha,Youshah,Youchah, etc. Some Yousha(h) descendents have linked their surname to Ischach, etc. spelling.

If you have any of the surnames mentioned in this letter and/or if you have ancestors who died in the Holocaust with these surnames, please contact me. I recently helped a U.S. woman who had Yousha ancestors, connect that surname to Ischach on the deportee list, by looking at the photos of Jews from Monastir on the Holocaust Museum website http://www.ushmm.org/wlc/article.php?lang=en&ModuleId=10006802. Thank you for any help you can provide.
