I am searching for the descendants of Toba D. and Max Bloom. Toba was born Cohen in Chicago, Illinois, March 30, 1908, and married fellow Chicago native, Max Bloom, in 1926. They later moved to Beloit, Wisconsin, where Max was in the scrap-metal business (as was his father, Sam Bloom). Toba and Max may have lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a time. Later, they settled in the vicinity of Los Angeles, California. I have not yet determined when Morris died, but Toba died on March 10, 1998. Her last known residence was Redlands, San Bernadino County, California. Toba and Max had two children: Barbara J. Bloom, born 1929, and Philip "Buddy" Bloom. Both Barbara and Buddy were last known to have resided in the Los Angeles area. Both are (or were) married. One source reported that Barbara and her husband are deceased. Telephone calls to the Philip Blooms listed in the Los Angeles area proved fruitless.
