Sorry if I seem vague. I am hoping to get a little further away from the current generation before posting identifying details.

Ellis Island records are useful for comparison, although this individual never immigrated to the United States. Religion is easy - Jewish. Language is more complex, as family members were multilingual. If pressed, I would guess Polish, but I have to confirm.

I do have local leads to follow up, but I got ahead of myself thinking that I could jump straight to his birth place.
