Well, it's been almost four years since I started this message Forum. I have met and talked to family members by snail mail and e-mail, by phone and I have recieved lots of family info. I can now say there are six groups in Canada and the USA. #1 Kansas: John and Jean Jewers moved from England before 1890. # 2 A very small family moved to Quebec from England which info can be found in the 1920's. # 3 Ohio, I'm just got wind of this group and it looks like they may have connections to Germany. # 4 The States of Mass and Maine, and New Jersey, moved in from Nova Scotia.
#5 There could be a second group in the Penn State. # 6 Nova Scotia and Canada. Still looking towards the Penn State (Philly) as the place were John and Mary?? moved from in the 1778-79 to Nova Scotia.
There are others in the 1920 and 1930 US census records that are found in several states. I have not found any info on many of these family members with connections to any of the family groups YET. So, the hunt goes on.
