Naomi passed away last week, June 5th. She was the sister to my step-grandfather Eckley F. Jessee:
Naomi Farmer Age 90 of Newark, DE passed away Thursday, June 5, 2003.
Mrs. Farmer was born the daughter of the late Joseph and Martha E. Jessee in Lee County, VA. She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Farmer. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Roberta "Bobbie" Smith.
Mrs. Farmer is survived by her daughter, Leoda C. (Joe) Yearick of Bear; her son, Ron A. (Mary) Farmer of Elkton, MD; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Farmer's Life Celebration from 7-9 pm on Monday, June 9 at Beeson Memorial Services, 2053 Pulaski Hwy., Rt.40, Fox Run (302-453-1900). The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, duPont Hwy., New Castle.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Farmer may be made to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Rd., Wilmington, DE 19810.
