George R. Jessee is my Great Grandfather. My grandmother was the youngest of the 7 children (two died). Her name is Virginia Ellen Jessee and she was born 9/1/1922. The Burke book lists her with a different name for reasons unknown. My grandmother was only 5 years old when her dad died. She never really knew where he came from or much about the family. Once Ira disapeared and Fleming (Alpha and Flemings son) died she did not have any further resources to consult with. I made it my goal to locate the family history prior to her 80th birthday. It is tomorrow. I have succeeded quite nicely and look forward to sharing the information with her. How are you related exactly? Please keep in touch and let me know if you find out anything new.
