I don't have any more information on Ira, but I do have information on his line back through Fleming Burk Jessee, the second child of James Jessee, born 1794 and Jane Burk, the second child of Fleming Burk, Sr., then through the Burk line to the Burk immigrant who came to VA from England c1650.

By the way, according to a descendant, this Jessee family was originally from Wales; however, Flemming Burke Jessee always told people that they were origanally from England because few people knew where Wales was.
