Hi All,
I have been talking to my aunt Carol and she has filled me in on a bit (back to my gg-grandfather)
My grandfather, Carl Jesse, was born in Illinois, to William T. Jesse and Laura Busick. William was born to George and Amanda (Armstrong) Jesse of Missouri. William was born Dec. 20, 1875 in Miller County, MO., most likely Eldon, as his brother Henry still lived there when my aunt visited as a child. He had one other brother, and one sister, 2 half brothers, Henry and Ray, and 4 half sisters: Effie Cramp of Urbana, Maude Smithpeter of Eads, Oklahoma, Bernice Eads
of the same town, and Lulu Kinnard of Apache, Oklahoma.
Richard, we are definitely related, and the work your mom did most likely has the information I am looking for.
If anyone can tell me where the Jesse family came from to America, I would really appreciate it...
