Another branch of Jesmers
Posted by: David George Jesmer Jr. Date: January 08, 2002 at 17:14:24

Just did a Google search of "Jesmer" and discovered this interesting site. Haven't read the rest of the messages yet, but wanted to get this going. . . My immediate family comes from the Seattle, Washington area. My grandfather's name was Sidney Jesmer, and his brother's name was Alfie (don't know the proper name), and his sister was Marion. My father is David G. Jesmer, and was raised as an only child on a lumber ranch in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California.
I am an officer in the US Army, and am living in the Washington, D.C. area currently, as are the rest of my immediate family members.
Frankly, I had no idea that there were other Jesmers outside of my immediate family and the Seattle area. I'd be very much interested in discovering where our paths cross. . .

Sincerely, David
