Your post is interesting. My grandfather was adopted by a Stahlkopf family who came from Stolp Pommern in 1883 and settled in Horicon Wisconsin. My grandfather knew he had a brother and sister and looked for them all his life but never found them. His mother was Wilhelmine Jass and his father was supposedly a Neumann. (Could be spelled Niemann or Newmann.) He was born in 1868 in Stresow Stolp Pommern. I cannot find a village or town by the name you posted. Do you have any paperwork from your ancestors or ship records or naturalization papers that would state from where they came? You can email me at blrullman@gmail.com
