We have a John and a Rueben Jarrett(e) born in the St. Genevieve Mo. area to a Joseph Jarrett and a Genevieve Odanae. They also had brothers Joseph Jr and Henry. Joseph Jr was baptised in 1784. John was supposed to have went to Minnesota and Henry and Rueben were suppose to have went to Iowa. All contact with the three bothers was lost after that. I don't know if this helps or ties in. Hope so.
Also name appears in several variations Jarrot/Jarrett/Jarrette/Gerrard/Gerard etc. sometimes within the same document.
