I am researching Francis and Lettitia Jerrett who arrived in the Portland area of Victoria in about 1840-42. They may have come directly from Ireland or possibly via NSW, where there were many Jerretts. They were both from County Tyrone, Ireland where they were married in 1835. Francis died in Ballarat 1892 aged 76. His parents were Francis Jerrett and Esther McMurray. Francis and Lettitia's children were:

b.c. 1840. d. 1862 in Tyrendarra aged 22

b.1846, Portland
William JERRETT
b.1847, Portland
Letitia JERRETT (also spelt Letticia)
b. 1851 Surrey. d. 1980 in Narrawong aged 39
Sarah JERRETT
b.1851 Surrey
William John JERRETT
b. 1854, Portland/Narrawong. m. Meta SMITH
