Hello. i dont know if i can help any of your queries. my line of the Jerome family originate from huguenots and we have out part of the tree plotted out back to them. there was a Joseph Jerome (or mis-spelt jerom) who settled on the isle of white on a farm called Beanacre and i know of a Tomothy Jerome who emigrated from the isle of white to america near the same time both noted as being huguenots. we too also have family stories of being related (somehow) to winston churchill. nothing of stories of indian royalty i am afraid. but more of a flemish origin rather then french. which makes sence if u follow the history of the reformation which started off in the netherland/german/flemish areas. This in turn brings a possible italian/latin link as there were strong links especially through art and music between flemish countries and italy in the time of monteverdi. so if people are looking for links to the Saint. i believe it is there. anyway if anyone is interested i'll dig out our family tree or what we have of it. also does everyone's research come back to the uk/isle of white?
