Dear Chelle, I have no idea if you are related to my deceased husband's family or not. His Father was Albert Simon Jern and was raised in Oquawka,Il; He may have been born in Monmouth, Il.... in the late 1800's. (I'd have to look it up). He had brothers and sisters but I'm not sure how many. He married Octave De Capiteau and they lived in Missouri before moving to Aurora, Illinois. They had two sons; Jean Albert and my husband, Jerry Wendell. Both are now deceased. Let me know if any of this sounds like it fits somewhere and I'll dig up more dates. I will be 65 this year and have been widowed since March of 1992. Jerry was 9 years older than I am. We had one son, Christopher Wendell Jern. Sharon
