I haven't absolutely proven it yet, but I think that Zachariah H. Jerkins is the Zack Jerkins who married Florence Osteen over in Suwannee County in about 1880.
He and Florence are on the 1880 Census living next door to Florence's mother and sisters. On the 1885 Florida State Census, Florence Jerkins and her two children, Palmer D. Jerkins and Netta S. Jerkins are living with her Mother Martha (M.E.) Osteen. Florence is listed as a widow.
By 1910, Palmer D. Jerkins and Netta(Neta)Jerkins were in Levy County where they lived out their lives.
