In a "new" book I purchased last summer from Higginson Book Co. called "A History & Genealogy of the descendants of John Jepson" the notation about John Jepson, b May 8, 1661, d. 1722 states that he married 3 times: first to Ruth then to Apphira and ..."Thirdly Jan. 19, 1714, Mercy Daniels. Ceremony by the Rev. Cotton Mather. She died in Hingham, Nov. 19, 1750. Their only child was Micah, b. August 21, 1716."
