Nancy, I realize that my response to your 2001 message is 10 years late, but here goes. I am not related to a Jepson but a Ledwich and only by adoption. Lawrence Ledwich apparently migrated to San Francisco, met and married my great grandmother--at that time either Annie McManus or Annie Ennis. He apparently adopted my grandmother Catherine Ann Ledwich. She later went on to marry my grandfather Anthony John Merta. The 1910 US census has them living in San Francisco and either living with them or close by were John A. Jepson and Klara Jepson. Both identified themselves as being from Sweden with John having been born in 1882 and Klara having been borin in 1884. I hope this message finds you and is of help, Rod Merta.
