John Jepson of Boston 1700

I have been searching for Mercy DANIELS who married John Jepson (the second)in Boston in 1714. I now have reason to believe she was the daughter of John Daniels and Mary Chappell of New London, CT, and was known as Mary as well as Mercy. In the IGI I find both Mary and Mercy Daniels marrying John Jepson in 1714. Mary Daniels in New London published intentions to wed Jonat. Fox Aug 9, 1712/13; then he died in Dec of the same year. That would leave her free to marry John Jepson in 1714, but how did she get to Boston?

John Jepson died in 1722. Then in different records I find both Mercy Jepson and Mary Daniels marrying John Orcutt in 1723 in Hingham, MA. She died the same date in 1750 that John Jepson's widow died.

Can anyone confirm that Mercy Daniels who married John Jepson was the Mercy/Mary Daniels of New London, CT? Jane
