In the New Bern Daily Journal, New Bern, NC, Feb. 8, 1893:
Died in Pamlico County, NC on Dec. 13, 1892, Nelson Jenson, aged about 58 years. He was born in Norway in 1834, and came to Beaufort, NC in 1857. In 1858 he moved to New Bern, NC where he remained until 1863, where he engaged in peddling goods in a small schooner. He came to Pamlico in 1867, where he remained until his death. He was a consistent member of the Methodist Church.
I have no interest in this family and only post this as a resource.
