Rebecca A. "Becky" Nicolini, 62, of Hilton Head Island died Saturday, Jan. 26, at her home.
She was born Nov. 13, 1939, in Warren, Pa., the daughter of the late Russell S. and Mildred H. JENNESS Norris. She moved to Hilton Head Island in 1985 from Atlanta.
She attended Grove City College for two years in Grove City, Pa., and graduated from Massachusetts General in Boston as a registered nurse. She worked as a nurse in the obstetrics-gynecology unit at Hilton Head Medical Center and Clinics until May 2001.
She was a member of St. Francis By the Sea Catholic Church and was a former president of West Point Parents Association of South Carolina.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Nicolini of Hilton Head; a daughter Gabrielle Nicolini of Clemson; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter and Angie Nicolini of Bluffton, Michael and Tate Nicolini of Gafney, and Christopher Nicolini of Greenville; four grandchildren, Emma and Max of Bluffton and Matthew and Jacob of Gafney; a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Vivian Norris of North Holidaysburg, Pa; a mother-in-law, Margaret Nicolini of Flushing, N.Y.; and a brother and sister, Anthony and Jane Nicolini of Bayside, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis By the Sea Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael McCafferty officiating. Interment will be in St. Francis Columbarium.
