Hi, I seem to be at an impasse in trying to determine the lineage of Melvina Elizabeth JENKINS b. Jan 1861 and d. 1953 Clay Co., TN. I am confused about the wives of John Brant JENKINS, particularly when it comes to Melvina RUNNOLDS and America C.?? Was Melvina RUNNOLDS the mother of Melvina Elizabeth JENKINS? And if so, how can I find who her parents were? That is something no one seems to know. My other mystery person is Rena Bean BEENE b. 1881 KY and d. 1946 Clay Co., TN She was married to John B. BIRDWELL and I have identified their children; however, I would love to find who her parents were. Perhaps her parents stayed in KY, where she was born. There are a lot of BEENEs in both KY and TN, but I don’t have a clue which family she was from. I would certainly appreciate any help you could send my way.
