Seeking names of parents and any additional information on Sarah Evelyn JENKINS, b. June 23, 1832, in Humphrey or Perry Co., TN. She married William George RIGGS in 1850. They had 7 surviving children:
John H. RIGGS, b. abt 1851
James Granville RIGGS, b. 14 Oct. 1854
Mary Cansady RIGGS, b. abt 1857
Aura Almeda RIGGS, b. 27 Feb. 1860
Martha Ann RIGGS, b. 26 Feb. 1862
Roena J. RIGGS, b. 17 May 1864
Pinkney Lafayette RIGGS, b. 22 Feb. 1870
Sarah is shown on the 1850 and 1860 TN, Decatur Co., 6th District censuses. On the 1870 census they lived in Perryville, TN and in 1900 they were in Benton Co., TN.
She died March 22, 1908, in Holladay, Benton Co., TN.
