May have been the son of Reginald although some have it that Edward Jenkins is the father and it could be (Maybe Reginald is an uncle who took him to the new continent and so people just figured out that it was a father son team, this is my idea But It's reported that Reginald didn't come to America until about 1634, two year after the murder by the Indians at Cape Porpus, Maine I had started out Reginald Reynolds Jenkins born 1608 (of Kittery, York, Maine and Dover, Straford, New Hampshire) in Darmouth/Kingsweare, Devon, England was the son of Reginald Reynolds Jenkins born1574 England died at Cape Porpose,(Kennebunkport) Maine, but further searches have found that Edward Jenkins and wife Joan are more probable parents, in Later Day Saints Web Site, Edward and Joan were born 1575-1580 near Broomfield (where Reginald married Anne Gale) and had six children , the second child, Reginald Jenkins born 1608 of Dover,Straford New Hampshire. died 1683 (unknown),York Maine? buried Broomfield, Somerset, England. Why burried in England? This has me stuck on who is the father, do I strike out the elder Reginald, or dismiss Edward and Joan Jenkins? It would figure that the names match that they are related, or maybe we just assumed. Maybe he was an Uncle and rather having every time if they were asked if they father and son they just agreed rather than go on to a long explansion! I am begining to believe that Edward and Joan are the true parents and and their time line of both Reginalds in America don't match, maybe following Uncle Reg. over to the new world but when getting here Uncle Reg. was all ready killed by the Indians at Cape Porpus, Maine, or who knows ? This is a puzzle and it might not ever have the answer! ] this is my theory - David Paul Jenkins (4thson)
