I am looking for information on William Jenkins born in Ohio 5 Oct 1803 - died Frankfort, Clinton, Indiana 1 Jan 1881.
He was listed as a steamboat pilot in the Cincinnati Directory for the year 1831.
He purchased land in Frankfort, Clinton, Indiana in 1830.
He and his wife, Elizabeth J. Lick moved to Indiana in 1831. Their first child, Jane Ann, was born in Clinton County, Indiana 18 Mar 1832.
His father and two brothers came to the United States from Ireland.
I have all his information after the move to Indiana, but nothing for his first 28 years of life or his parents.
