Howie:
None of your names hit off the top of my head...but! the most knowledgeable of the Baker clan I know of in Georgetown, Texas is Ralph Dixon Love. He wrote a book on the Baker clan, compiled by all the family members. There are no more in print, but he is a generous man. Their line starts with Robert Zebulon and Minerva Ellen Swindle Baker. Their children were: Bertha Barnard, Eva Maness, Edna Weisse, Lovie Pipkin, Calvin, Florence Day, Bethel Baker, Lela Mae Baker, Grace Stubblefield, Arminta Chance, and Emilee Love. Mr. Love works at the Georgetown Library. His email address is: [email protected].
The Jenkins line ties into the Baker line.
I understand your confusion on the Jenkins line. The line I am researching comes to Texas from Indiana. I am searching for the father of Richard T. Jenkins, who was married to Martha J. Payn.
I will be happy to share information and if I can help, just let me know.
