My gg-father William H Jenkins and wife Elizabeth Howell came to the USA in 1853 with children; Elizabeth, Mary, Anne and John(possibly originally named Thomas) in 1853. They first settled in Dearborn Co, IN. In 1858-59 they moved to what is now Willow Hill, IL and William became a farmer.
I have much of the family history in the USA, but have had no luck in determining where in Monmouthshire they lived, or identifying their relatives in Wales.
Assistance in identifying my Welch connection would be appreciated.
