Jackson, Sept. 11 – Elmer E. Jenkins
Elmer E. Jenkins, 80, of Columbus, a native of Jackson, passed away shortly before midnight Saturday in University Hospital, Columbus of a self-inflicted bullet wound.
He had been in ill health since 1930 when he retired as secretary-treasurer of the Clintonville Federal Saving & Loan Co.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nora Jenkins, a daughter, two sons; a brother and two sister.
Funeral services will be held in Columbus Tuesday.
