I am wondering if you might know a Jenkins line that has an Ellender Jenkins who married a James Daniel "Dan" Wiliams. The marriage date would have to be about 1818 or maybe a little earlier. The children from this marriage are as follows: William Elijah. Andrew Jackson, Rhoda, Chaney, Nancy Ann, Thomas N. and James Montrovelle, all with surname of WILLIAMS.
Daniel purchased 24 acres of land in 1824 that was surveyed on Dunn's Creek, above Jones Cove, TN. In 1827 he had an additional 50 acres of land surveyed that was also on Dunn's Creek and adjoined land of Eli McMahan. That final piece of land he bought was purchased by Robert Matthews from Daniel who was living in Haywood Co., NC at the time of the purchase. Two of the children and wife Ellender Jenkins were on the Haywood Co., NC census for Haywood Co., NC. Daniel's father MAY BE a William "Billy" Williams, mother Elizabeth "Betty" Walker/
