Am looking for information about Colton (or Cotton) Jenkin, who married my ancestor Mary Ann P Nancarrow in Truro, 1870. Colton's widowed mother was named Ann, b. 1831 in ? Perran. (1891 Census) Colton and Mary Anne had 7 children, named on 1891 census, Clara b. 1874, Henry (Harry) 1876, Ellen 1877, Frederick 1883, Mildred 1885,(not on 1901 Census, but Wilfred is at the same date) Arthur 1886. (Not on 1901 Census) Mary Ann died before 1891.
The Nancarrow family lived around Perranzabuloe in Cornwall, but Colton lived in Newquay CON.
I hope there is a connection to someone here. Mary Ann's older brother John, b. 1849 in PZ, emigrated to USA, and lived and mined in Nevada County, CA, where there were Jenkin families. Maybe there is another cousin connection to be found there?
