I asked a question about the link to Green Bonito Jemison and the Jemison-Ball family about three years ago. A nice lady posted the following response:

I have all this data. Joseph Marshall Jemison married Saramus Laura Nuckles. Joseph was a Captain in Civil War She was a teacher, They moved to Waco, Texas in 1881 and Joseph died there. They had eight children two died in infancy and they raised 6 chldren. She died April 19, 1928 in Marshall, Texas.Joseph died March 3, 1883 in Waco, Texas.

I am looking for the ancestry records that might link Green Bonito Jemison to Harriett Sarah Jemison. My research suggests that Green Bonito and Harriett share common ancestors, Robert Jemison (1720-1800) who married Sarah McKee (1725-1824).

Green Bonito (1809-1836)gets back to Robert and Sarah Jemison through Benjamin Jemison (Green's father), John Jemison (1747-1815), and then Robert and Sarah.

Harriett Sarah Jemison (1815-1889) gets back to Robert and Sarah Jemison through William Jemison (1778-1829), Robert Jemison (1749), and then Robert and Sarah Jemison.

Can anyone verify that I have this right?
