Thank you so much for your information. I find Henry S Born July 1844 in Wilcox co. 1910 census with a wife Sarah A. born Mar. 1874,daughter Artie B born Apr. 1882 and son Robert T. Jan 1892. I have also found where Frances Flanagan Jemison is buried in wilcox Co AL in Pineapple Christian Cemetary. Her date of death is February 19, 1896.
In this same census Flanagan is right down from him listed as a boarder.

This is just a speculation or guess to me because I have just began researching, my Aunt Annette really didn't know to much info and I havent been able to get in touch with my Uncle David. I feel that artie is Flanagans true sister for two reasons,If this Sarah is really his wife in the census the she would be to young to of had Artie and my grandmother was Artie Leona Jemison Myrick 9-8-02 died 3-6-96. Maybe Flanagan was mad at his dad for marrying some one 3 year younger than him???? Who knows but it would be interesting to find out:)

I feel she was named after the Artie on this census. (You can find Flanagan in the 1920 census in Escambia Co Al with his children)

On the list you gave for children the I. should be an S. my grandfather was Sherlie William Myrick 2/10/1899 - 2/8/1981. I would love to share any info I have with you and receive any info you might have on the Jemisons.
