Emile Jehle, 63, a rural Piper City farmer, died Friday, May 29, at Fairbury Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday at the Stewart Funeral Home in Cullom with the Rev. W.E. Volkmann officiating. Burial was in Chatsworth cemetery.
Mr. Jehle was born near Piper City, Dec. 15, 1899, a son of Andrew and Mary Ranicher Jehle. He never married.
Surviving are one brother, Joseph of Piper City; and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Ark of Chatsworth and Mrs. Elizabeth Longbottom of Cullom. Two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Casketbearers were Orville Groups, Cullom; Herman Onken, Bernard Onken, Robert Brucker and Edwin Williams all of Piper City, and Earl Ellinger of Chatsworth.
