First let me thank you "posters" for this great info. I am hoping someone can help me with the brick wall I've hit.
Does anyone know if Berry Jeffers(Jeffries) had a son named Gideon (b. 1790-93?) who in turn had a son named L.B. Jeffers (possibly L.B.=Littleberry)?
Berry lived in the Richland area you wrote of and Gideon was born in S.C. I am trying to connect to the Gideon Jeffers who lived in Covington County, Alabama. If this is Berry's son then I believe either Gideon or L.B. is my Greatgrandfather Thomas Darling Jeffries' father. I've seen confusing info mostly in family trees of folks I don't know (yet) as to whether Gideon or L.B. was Thomas's father.
I have been unable to find all of Gideon's children.
Can anyone help?
