As part of my work on the Llangynfelyn parish history site (www.llangynfelyn.org) I've come across the details of a rather entertaining court case involving Charles Jeffreys while he was living at Gwynfryn Hall in 1870. The full transcript should be available on-line next month some time (Jan 2005) but please get in touch if you want to know more.
