Did you know that George Jeffreys (husband of Justina) was the witness to the marriage of the writer Thomas Love Peacock to Jane Gruffydh at Eglwysfach in 1820?

This suggests that George was a member of the romantic poet circle, ( as does his gothick castle.) Do you know any biographical facts about him and his interests?

I am also interested in the history of the house. I am sure it was completed by 1818, but want to find out more.
I have seen some of your work in the possession of Mrs Piper of Glandyfi castle.

best wishes
Caroline Palmer
