Thanks for your response. This young man (24 in the 1850 Census) was actually born in Missouri and as far as i know never lived in Delaware. His parents were from Delaware but left sometime between 1816 and 1820 when they appear in Kentucky. I had thought about the possibility of it being Warren and will search for that but the Warren Jefferson in Delaware is different than this person.
