Hi! I think we are working on the same family. I am looking for a Henry Savage who married Margaret Jefferson in Amherst Co. He also moved to Kentucky. I suggest you look for the other early names in your part of that family. I have Moore, Conway, Tucker, Bryant, Haskins, and Penn, which also ties to Savage. Check these forums and see what you find. I'd be more specific, but I am still trying to find my exact ties. I am like one marriage off, on each, with very likely ties to these people. May I suggest you look at the Penn family, and see how you do? Please do get back to me. I am sure we're looking at the same family. My people went on to Tennessee and took the name Selvidge, because "they settled right among the Indians." With a name like Savage, I sure understand. My maiden name is Selvidge.
