Son John Robertson (II) b. March 4, 1779 in Cumberland Co., VA (d. March 15, 1818 in Cumberland Co., VA) md Sarah Smith Criddle (1798 in Cumberland Co., VA) b. - April 14, 1778 and d. Haywood Co., TN August 29, 1835. She moved to Sumner Co., TN after John’s death to be with Criddle family. See genealogy.com message 1009. Sarah is in the 1820 Sumner Co., TN Census and Davidson Co., TN 1830 Census. Peter Field Jefferson md to Elizabeth Harrison, John Robertson II’s brother was in Sumner Co., TN well before Sarah Smith Criddle Jefferson moved to Sumner Co., TN.
John Robertson Jefferson (III) was b. May 11, 1804 in Cumberland Co., VA and md Elizabeth Coopender June 5, 1841. She was born and was married in Wake Co., NC.
John Robertson Jefferson Jr. (IV) was born in 1845 in MS and md Jurdie P. Miller on December 28, 1867 in Guadalupe., TX. She was b. 1850 in MO.
John Robertson Jefferson (V) was b. in 1868 and md Elizabeth Unknown, b. 1875 in MO.
John Robertson Jefferson (VI) was b. 1907 and Md Ruth Burton.

John Jefferson, b. February 23, 1770 in Cumberland Co., VA was the son of Peter Field Jefferson, b. March 14, 17733/34 and Elizabeth Allen, b. December 7, 1739. Peter Field Jefferson was also a son of Colonel Field Jefferson and Mary Frances Robertson. John Jefferson married Anne Ramsey on October 12, 1800 in Pittsylvania Co., VA. (CD # 229) Marriage is also shown for January 3, 1798 in Franklin Co., VA on CD # 229 as John Jefferson and Anna Ramsey. They had at least 6 children, one girl, Nancy Allen Jefferson, b. October 18, 1801 and 5 sons. Known sons were Noton, b. 1802; Peter Field, b. 1815; and John Jefferson, Jr., b. 1816. One unknown son was b. 1810 – 1815 and the other was probably Thomas Campbell Jefferson, b. 1806. Peter Field, John Jr. and the unknown son, b. 1810 – 1815 were still living with their parents in the 1830 and 1840 Census in Pittsylvania Co.., VA Census.
John Pinkard Jefferson, b. July 8, 1810 in Franklin Co., VA and died in 1859 in Campbell Co., VA. He married Sarah Frances Steptoe Brown on September 14, 1835 in Rockingham Co., NC. John Pinkard Jefferson was a son of Thomas Broome Jefferson, b. 1784 in Cumberland Co., VA and Jane Graves, b. 1790 in Pittsylvania Co., VA. Thomas Broome Jefferson was a son of John Robertson Jefferson I and Elizabeth Broome, b. abt 1742 in London, England. Jane Graves was a daughter of Peyton Graves and Charlotte Pinkard.
