This is in Berry Jeffers' Revolutionary War Pension File #10,145 SC Archives.
An affidavit of James Rawlinson dated 5 Apr 1850 quote (in Part) "that from the same neighborhood were Morgan & Gideon Griffin, Allen Jeffers, Osborne Jeffers and five of this deponet's (James') brothers one who did not survive the war" ---"and the spring after said Battle he (Berry Jeffers) came home in Richland District and soon after engaged with this Deponent's (James') father in the blacksmith trade and continued with him several years during which time this Deponent (James) worked in said shop with him"---.
