Can anyone tell me why and when the name Jeffcoat changed to Jefcoat? I know that someone told me this at sometime, but I lost her information. And does anyone have my birth parents' names in their family history records? Their names were Marion Roy Jefcoat and Elizabeth Mary Jefcoat. Marion had a brother named Milton Jefcoat and a sister named Dorothy Jeffcoat. I believe that Dorothy kept her last name as Jeffcoat. She was never married. All I know about her was that she weighted 400.00 lbs. Thank you very much for help.
