Esther, I don't know if I can help you or not but will be willing to try. It seems as if the Jayroes, or however you wish to spell it, descended from George Jayroe who left the vicinity of Georgetown between 1806 and 1810.I hesitate to put all my information on the internet so would like you to contact me at I would like information from you also, if you are willing to share. My research has been more on the first Jayroes. However, if you're beginning I might also be able to offer some suggestions as to where you might look. Margaret Jayroe
