Looking for information on the parents of Sarah (Sally) Jay. She is my ggg-grandmother. The dates I have for her are: b 1848/49? Lumpkin County, GA; d 1927 Panola County, TX. She married James Howard Lawless (b 1850 Lumpkin County, GA; d 1913 Panola County). I believe they are both buried at Mt. Zion cemetary in Panola County. I have her parents as John Jay (b 1818 Tennesse d abt 1900 Lumpkin County, GA) and Sarah Bramblet (b 1811 South Carolina - no death date, but Stewart Co. GA death location). If anyone can shed any light on Sarah's parents or info on Sarah Bramblet, I would appreciate it.
