I am searching for more information on my grandfather's side and have had little luck. He was born in Pakil, Laguna in Philippines and his name is Cirilo Balubayan. I've been told that his father, Isaac Balubayan and his ancestors are originally from India and came to Philippines with the British army during the Spanish wars and that their name was actually "Balu" but changed it to "Balubayan" which translates to Balu "country".

My grandfather's mother is Petra Andres and her parents were Pedro Andres and Juana Javier. Any information you can provide would be helpful. Thanks.
