I'm hoping to reconnect with Juan Jauregui from Washington State. A couple of years ago Juan and I learned that we were related.
His grandfather: Severo Jauregui-born in Nochistlan and
my grandfather: Juan Jauregui-born in La Estancia
were brothers.
Their parents were: Juan Victoria Jauregui and Petra Huerta.
Other children of Juan Victoria and Petra were:
Donanciano, Jose, Santana, Luisa and Trina.
Juan Victoria's siblings included:
Maria Alvina, Jose Teodoro, Jose Maria Eleno, Maria Petra, Jose Maria de los Angeles, Maria Micaela, and Jose Rosalio
Petra's parents were: Jose Felipe Huerta and Felipa Ruiz.
Her siblins included:
Epitacio, Jose Manuel, Juaquin, Maria del Rosario and Maria Nepomucena.
Although the Jaureguis are from Nochistlan, Zacatecas, the information I have on the Huertas is that they are from Jalisco. Petra's birthplace is Mexticacan, Jalisco.
Juan and I also share our Jauregui line with Yolanda-from Kansas.
I would very much like to hear back from Juan or anyone else who might share these ancestors. I live in Southern California, however, my grandfather Juan lived in Las Cruces New Mexico from the early 1900's to the 1960's. According to some information I got from my family, at least one of my grandfather's brothers lived in Colorado. Per Juan, the brother in Colorado was named Jose.
