This may be a long shot. I am a Stransky, while being told my family spelt it with an i originally. When I first started searching I found my whole family or part of them with spellings like Strensky, or Strumsky on the census years. I only have Stransky now but earlier church documents have it as Strensky.

My search looking for Strensky or Stremsky has been limited to just less than a dozen names. I have to resort to looking if my family changed the name before that as well.

example: Like you have McMiller then to Miller many names become shorten sometimes. My family story was they changed the name to fit into the local community at that time in NY

Not that the names ring any bell with me, if you have access to the databases and lost connection to that side of your tree. Try dropping the Ja and try Strzembski alone, or various Str* Stz* becuase when I had access I believe I recall some of those names. I thought a Vincent belong to my family but found out later my(person) the brother name was named Theodore.

Either way good luck, and if it is not a name change sometimes type-o's are made and the correct spelling of an image can be found under a mis-typed name.
